Back to winning ways!

After a dreadful few months and a litter of games too close together for the aged few, OLV finally got the win that they had deserved for so long. With a list of injuries too long for the referee's card, OLV got off to a good start and seemed to be cruising at 1-0 when the suckerpunches started to hit. In reality OLV should have been 4-0 up by the tenth minute but for some rusty footwork in front of goal.

by the time the 55 minute had come, OLV were trailing 4-1 in a game once dominated by OLV. But the difference on the day was the spirit shown by the home side and finally in the second half OLV took some of their chances.

A great all round display, but a mention for George Byrne and his first goals and his well deserved hatrick for OLV, Derek Dunne and Noel Stapleton for their goals and Gavin O'Brien for his (Air-Display) antics.
