A side in total control of a game from start to finish and yet another loss for an OLV side who must be wondering what they must do to get back to winning ways.
OLV totally dominated the game in all areas of the pitch and had gone a goal down after Clontarf's first attack with 30 mins gone. During the preceding 30 mins OLV should have gone in front but wave after wave of attack yielded nothing but more frustration. OLV pressed to find a now all elusive goal but were suckerpunched by a Clontarf team who added to their tally on their next and only other move forward in the first half. Both goals left the OLV players struggling to understand how the referee allowed either goal to stand, enough said.
Two more in the second half against the run of play and OLV have now lost 6 on the trot. Pat (CF) Heary scored a consolation from the spot and looks like finishing the season as top scorer, unless by some miracle the strike force stops hitting the post and starts hitting the the onion sack.
