Baldoyle 2 OLV 2 (D.Dunne. G. Byrne)

OLV, once again, threw away the chance to add another 3 points to their tally. After twice leading in a game that was more likely to see an OLV win, Baldoyle were undeserved of the draw. Derek Dunne put OLV in front with a well taken goal only for a breakaway equaliser to spoil a convincing display to that point.

George Byrne added to OLVs tally with his 4th goal in two games. Baldoyle were gifted the equaliser when Martin McGrane up-ended a baldoyle player in the box.

OLV were worth the 3 points but failed to capitalise on their dominance. The injury list continues to grow from a gruelling last few weeks of the season with midweek and Sunday football taking a toll on the aged bodies.

OLV should have gotten more form the game but alas a draw is better than a loss. Hopefully a win on Sunday will finish the season nicely and will comfort the aches long into the summer.
