A good away result with some very good performances from all over the pitch particularly Mark McCabe who made a number of top quality saves ,centre-backs Donovan and Dunican making brilliant last ditch tackles ,Phil Lowndes once again putting himself about and making numerous tackles and blocks, full backs Kelly and Murphy dealing well with the home team's pacy wingers and making some fine runs and crosses ,Pat Heary as usual calm on the ball and spraying passes about the pitch as well as his goal from the penalty spot and his two shots that looked destined for the top corner, wingers McCabe and Clifford putting the home full backs under constant pressure and creating some good chances, captain Jamesy Coates again leading by example and making many of his trade mark full pelt slide tackles as well as almost scoring a towering header as he outjumped one of the giant defenders ,Paddy McEvoy doing very well on the wing and putting possibly the best cross of the match in from a corner ,Anto Connolly making a good debut on the left wing and then settling in very well when he switched to full back also Rory Connolly who had a super debut as he won the penalty with his quick pace and his wonder strike from 25 yards to secure the point for OLV.
