OLV 1 (A.Stanley) Portmarnock 6

OLV were knocked out of the Grimes cup on Thursday evening in spectacular fashion.  Despite being only 1-2 down to their opponents coming up to the half, thanks in part to some good goalkeeping and an Anto Stanley goal,  OLV heads seemed to drop when conceding a third just before the break.  Half time 1-3

Portmarnock gave an impressive display in the second half and OLV were lacking the firepower to get themselves back into the game.  Even so, Semi-Final status is not too bad for a team from the second division and OLV would like to wish Portmarnock FC good luck as they march on to the Dan Grimes Cup Final.  Full Time 1- 6
